This was my first attempt at getting an HD HSO image, using two different sessions, each with 30 subframes in H-alpha, S-II, and O-III. One session was with 300 second exposures and the other with 120 second exposures. I am probably going to have to get another set with a MUCH shorter exposure time to keep the Great Orion from blowing out. The image in this message is the 120 sec version while the attached image is the HD version... which is just plain Weird.
