Very good image Jeff. The telescope seems work great for you.

Thanks, Jeff. Very nice images.

I failed to note that all images are composed of 10x300 exposures each in H-alpha, Sulfur-II, and Oxygen-III using HSO mapping, and were captured with the ASIAIR+ scope mounted computer you can see on top of the scope. Calibration, integration, and initial processing was with Astro Pixel Processor which does almost completely automatic processing up to the color selection choice and operation, followed by some color fine tuning in Adobe Lightroom Classic.

I finally got the Askar V telescope fully operational in all 6 cofigurations. For those unfamiliar with this delightful piece of equipment, the Aakar V is a modular scope with both an 80mm and 60mm screw-on lens sets and a reducer, flatener, and extender that will work with either lens set. That gives is a focal length range from 270mm (60mm with reducer-F4.5) to 600mm (80mm with extender-f7.5). Fortunately, the extremely efficient ZWO ASI2600MM-Pro with its 95% quantum effeciency results in shorter necessary exposure times per iteration than I was able to get with my f2.8 hyperstar setup on my C11.

Attached are photos of the scope, camera, etc., and the AM5 mount as well as several images I have captured from my back yard here in Salado. Note that I no longer am using the off-axis guider and have replaced it with an Askar 60mm, helix focused guide scope as the reducer for the scope had a back focus too short to work with the OSG.

I have more images to post but wanted to get this out. This is one scope to rule them all, particularly if you don's have a dedicated observatory. I can easily carry all the modules for the scope, in their well designed carrying case with one hand. I can also carry the AM5 mount in its case with one hand.

With the ASIAIR, polat alignment time is measured in single digit minutes and it has a planning feature that includes shooting mosaics automatically while you sleep. This is by far the sweetest setup I have ever seen and it generally performs flawlessly. As usual, the operating instructons for the equipment is limited, but there are plenty of videos out there on how to do virtually anything with this setup.
