I am still learning to use Sharp Cap 4+ software to capture images with my color camera, the QHY168. I got a good night on December 1, 2023 and here is the result of 15 five minute subs stacked and processed with Maxim DL and Photoshop. This is my first camera that is not CCD and its very sensitive. I used my Astro Tech 102mm ED refractor for this image. I did not buy the AT 102 for normal AP but intend to use it for capture of Comets. But learning on bright objects.

It is almost impossible to get a good color image of a comet with the RGB filters due to the speed of the comet so a color camera is the best for comets. Not to sure if the human eye can ever see this much color as is a defused wide object almost as wide as the pupil of the eye and is only bright enough to see gray scales.

Hope you enjoy.
