Thanks Jeff. I know that it's my best on the Veil.

Camera really makes a difference.

Here is the other major arm of the Veil Nebula in Cygnus. Shot this on Oct 22 with the new Toup Tek AR 2600. This company was the provider of Color Cameras for Orion before Orion went bankrupt. The cam can be run in 2x2 binning which gives you a larger effective pixel and helps when you are running a relatively slow telescope (with f ratios around f6-f10).

We had a really great start with this current dark cycle and I was able to make a lot of progress in the use of this camera. This chip in the AR 2600 is one of the most popular chips for color cameras. It is the Sony IMX571. This image needed no darks as it is an extremely low noise cameras and it is "back illuminated giving it a major boost in sensitivity.

Enjoy.
