NCG6960 WESTERN ARM OF THE VEIL IN CYNGUS
abrickhouse

Thought that you might enjoy another image of the Veil. This was shot on Oct 20th with my AT 102 refractor telescope and a new color camera (Toup Tek AR 2600 24mb color). This camera is a back lit CMOS camera. That means it is much more sensitive and I am just getting used to the difference in exposure times and gain, etc.

The Veil is a large remnant left over from a 20 times larger Red star that went super nova around 8000 years ago. This is sometimes called the "Witch's Broom".
