Thanks for visiting our web site!
Each month the Central Texas Astronomical Society offers public stargazing in Belton, Waco, and Hubbard. We also have a monthly public Open House at the Meyer Observatory, near Clifton. These public programs are both entertaining and educational. Our Student Projects offer an opportunity for middle school and high school students to perform research that advances our knowledge of the cosmos.
If you are a teacher in Central Texas, contact us to learn about customized programs we can bring to your school.
You can join the Central Texas Astronomical Society and experience fellowship with others who share your passion for the night skies. As a member, you enjoy regular member events, access to our observing sight, and membership in the Astronomical League.
Whether you are already a member, or visiting for the first time, we hope you will find this web site a valuable resource for your astronomy interests. Be sure to check the links page to get connected to a wide variety of astronomy resources.
Stay as long as you like, and come back often!
The Central Texas Astronomical Society promotes preservation of dark night skies everywhere and is a member of the
